About Us



Dr. Buczek attended medical school at the University of Osteopathic Medicine in Des Moines, Iowa. After completing a traditional rotating internship, he then completed a 4 year residency in general surgery during which time he was chief surgical resident for 2 years. Following his residency, Dr. Buczek accomplished a 1 year cosmetic plastic surgery fellowship in the Philadelphia area, in addition to further training and education in London, England that followed with his certification in microvascular surgery. He has recently been appointed Adjunct Professor at DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine.




Dr. Paul Kobza is a Board Certified Surgeon specializing in the treatment of the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand injuries. Dr. Kobza completed a fellowship at the prestigious Baylor College of Medicine for upper extremity surgery. He is a publisher in the Journal of Hand Surgery and is an associate professor at the DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Kobza’s area of expertise includes treatment of sports related injuries including rotator cuff injuries; hand, elbow, and shoulder fractures; wrist, finger, and tendon injuries; carpal tunnel surgery, tennis elbow, and traumatic injuries to the upper extremity.

Dr. Kobza also specializes in workers’ compensation trauma injuries and general surgery including hernia surgery.
